圖書館
藏書樓、藏書室及其他文獻資料收藏的地方,
並有組織的、有系統的提供大眾閱讀、參考、以及
研究學術的地方, 它是傳播資訊、知識的工具, 同
時亦是一個服務機構, 它的主要任務是使藏書發揮
作用為廣大讀者服務。

資訊網的資源製定的一套書目記錄; 它是圖書館或
資訊網對讀者揭示書目資料的工具。
Catalogue
A list of the contents of a library or a
group of libraries, arranged according to
any of various systems.

A complete of selective list of works

AACR2 有關規定標點符號說明: 1.0C1
1. 除了第一項或另起一段的項之外, 每項之
前用圓點、空格、破折號、空格。. －
2. 每個細目之前的規定標點符號依照規則的
說明: 1.1A1.,1.2A1, ..., 1.8A1.
3. 除了逗點、圓點、連接號、圓括號、方括
號之外, 每個標點符號前後均應各空一格。
4. 逗點、圓點、連接號、後圓括號、後方括
號之前,不必空格。
5. 連接號、前圓括號、前方括號之後, 不必
空格。
6. 每項的第一個細目之前, 使用圓點、空格
、破折號、空格; 若該項被省略, 則實際著錄
的第一個細目之前, 使用圓點、空格、破折號
、空格; 廢棄原來的規定標點符號。
7. 插入的資料, 即得自規定著錄來源之外的
資料,放入方括號內。
8. 若插入的資料不能確定時,則在方括號內加
一個問號。
9. 有所省略必須使用省略符號 ..., 該符號
前後均應空一格。省略不必要的項或細目時,
連它的規定標點符號一併省略, 且不需使用省
略符號。
10. 同項內相鄰的細目可以置於一組方括號,
但資料類型標示一定單獨使用一組方括號;

1.0.4 著錄詳簡層次
本規則所列書目資料之著錄, 依其詳簡分
為簡略、標準及詳細三種著錄層次, 各館可視
需要採用適當之著錄層次。
1.0D. Level of detail in the description
本規則所列之細目為最完備者, 推薦三種
著錄層次, 其內容均為最低要求, 各圖書館依
照目錄的目的, 決定選用何層次; 若規則內另
有說明, 以其他細目取代, 亦應取代之。
0.29 需要的話, 可以在規定著錄細目之外,
另加相當的資料; 著錄分層次是為了讓圖書館
的編目政策更有彈性, 建議在機讀紀錄裡, 註
明何者屬於那個著錄層次。

叢項的內容, 應依照作品本身的語文轉錄。
無法處理的符號及其他事項, 應依編目員之意說明
, 該等說明文字應置於方括號內; 有必要的話, 在
附註項內說明緣由。
原則上, 上述四項內的添加文字, 應和原來的語文
相同, 但有四處例外:
1) 規定的增添字眼及縮寫;
2) 資料類型標示 general material designation
3) 其他型式的出版地 (見 1.4C2, 1.4C3)
4) 出版者、發行者等的職責敘述 (見 1.4E)
除了識別題名及附註項內的題名及引句外, 均應採
用編目單位所在地使用的語文。

A publication in any medium issued in
successive parts bearing numeric or
chronological designations and intended to
be continued indefinitely. Serials include
